We are delighted to host Skate Asia 2025 in the vibrant and dynamic city of Jakarta. As one of the most prestigious and long-standing ice skating competitions in Asia, Skate Asia continues to serve as a platform for skaters to showcase their talent, dedication, and passion for the sport.

The history of Skate Asia is filled with incredible milestones. In 2023, the competition was held at the DB Ice Rink in Hong Kong. For the first time, Skate Asia expanded from 9 days to 12 days, with an extraordinary 1,850 skaters participating in 4,400 events—all on a single sheet of ice. This monumental edition set a new standard for what Skate Asia could achieve and brought the skating community closer than ever.

In 2024, the legacy continued at the state-of-the-art Aurora Ice Rink in Taipei, Taiwan. Nearly 1,000 skaters competed in 2,870 events, showcasing their skills and strengthening the bonds within the ice skating community. This edition further cemented Skate Asia’s reputation as a premier international competition.

Now, as we look forward to Skate Asia 2025 in Jakarta, we are excited to carry this momentum into another thrilling chapter. This year promises to be a celebration of skill, artistry, and the unifying spirit of ice skating.
